Ausward zidana Jere

Chairperson of The Board of Directors

Ausward Zidana Jere is a strategic and technical leader with extensive experience in consultancy, capacity building, and program management. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Kawjo Foundation and as the Lead Consultant for Heifer International Malawi, overseeing the Midterm Evaluation of the “Groundnuts and Beef Value Chain in Kasungu and Mzimba to Increase Access to Markets (GAIN)” project. Between 2022 and 2024, he led various projects for several organizations and institutions.

With a career spanning roles such as Food Security and Resilience Technical Program Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, and Capacity-Building Manager at World Vision International, as well as Head of Programs at Self-Help Africa, Malawi, Jere has built a reputation for excellence in program management and development. He has also contributed as a Food and Nutrition Expert at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Jere holds a Master of Science in Rural Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
