The Foundation is committed to promoting food security and sustainable livelihoods by providing training in Integrated Aquaculture Agriculture (IAA) for youth and women. It will establish IAA demonstration facilities within communities, offer advisory services related to IAA, and connect IAA farmers with markets and entrepreneurs. Additionally, the Foundation will collaborate with research institutions and universities to advance IAA practices, provide consultancy services in IAA to investors, and organize climate-smart capacity-building initiatives for women involved in fish processing. Furthermore, it will facilitate the formation of cooperatives for women in this sector, assist them in acquiring climate-smart equipment such as kilns, and create linkages between women in fish processing and potential buyers, while also supporting the certification process for these women.
The foundation aims to enhance the knowledge and skill set of young individuals by establishing a center of excellence for Agricultural Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ATVET). It will organize field trips for trainees, assist ATVET graduates in fundraising for their agricultural businesses, and engage AgriBiz experts to support youth and women-led initiatives. Additionally, the foundation will forge partnerships with research institutions and higher education establishments, facilitate internships for ATVET graduates, and offer financial assistance to deserving yet talented students, particularly girls. It will also provide essential sanitation materials and services to in-school girls, create aquaculture and environmental conservation clubs within schools, deliver capacity-building programs on good governance for school management, advocate for and raise awareness about gender-based violence (GBV), and offer support to GBV survivors through appropriate referral services.
The foundation is committed to providing assistance to disaster survivors and the most vulnerable members of society by raising awareness about disaster prevention, partnering with disaster prevention organizations, and offering support to Persons With Disabilities (PWD), people living with HIV/AIDS, and those living in extreme poverty.
