Oscar Tembo joined the Kawjo Foundation in April 2025 as a Finance Intern, bringing with him a strong academic background and a keen interest in nonprofit financial management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Accounting, Auditing, and Information Systems (BAA-AIS) from the Malawi College of Accountancy.

In his role, Oscar supports the finance department with a wide range of tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budget tracking, and internal audits. He also ensures compliance with financial procedures and contributes to the preparation of donor reports and other essential documentation.

Oscar is passionate about leveraging his accounting knowledge to support mission-driven organizations. During his one-year internship, he aims to deepen his practical experience in financial operations, strengthen his analytical and technical skills, and gain insight into the financial management of nonprofit organizations.

His commitment to learning and attention to detail make him a valuable addition to the Kawjo Foundation team.
