Chisomo Kumwenda is a climate smart aquaculture trainer and program officer at Kawjo Foundation in Malawi. As a dedicated aquaculture specialist with over 2 years of experience of hands-on fish farming techniques, Chisomo provides expert technical support to fish farmers and guidance on effective group formation. Her work focuses on capacitating fish farmers with best aquaculture practices to enhance sustainable fish production amidst climate change crisis; including pond designing, feed formulation and fish harvesting.

Also passionate about data analysis, Chisomo enjoys using her skills to measure impact and currently supports Kawjo Foundation’s M&E department with data management. Chisomo graduated from LUANAR in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture and fisheries science.
