Bertha Michiru is a Fisheries and Aquaculture Specialist working as a Project Officer at Kawjo Foundation in Malawi

As a highly motivated trainer and promoter of Climate Smart Aquaculture technologies, Bertha is dedicated to enhancing the sustainability and resilience of aquaculture operations among farmers. Bertha is highly experienced in fish pond designing and construction, water quality monitoring and management, fish health management, fish nutrition and feeding, fish handling and grow out production. She demonstrates the ability to work in team environments and stakeholder collaborations to achieve Programme goals.

Bertha holds a Bachelor’s of science in Fisheries and Aquatic Science from Mzuzu University Malawi.
