Gertrude Jeremiah Ngoma is a seasoned environmental and social expert from Malawi with over 10 years of experience in climate change, environmental management, and sustainable development. She has a proven track record of implementing transformative projects in climate resilience, food security, and renewable energy. Currently, she serves as an Environmental Safeguard Specialist at ESCOM, contributing to a World Bank-funded initiative.

Gertrude has demonstrated excellence in resource mobilization, project implementation, partnerships, and advocacy, drawing on her extensive experience with international organizations such as World Vision, The Hunger Project Malawi, and Concern Worldwide. Her expertise includes environmental and social impact assessments, policy development, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and fostering strategic partnerships

As a published researcher and advocate for climate-smart agriculture and ecosystem restoration, Gertrude combines technical expertise with a passionate commitment to empowering communities and advancing sustainable development across Africa. She holds a BSc in Forestry and MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Malawi
